Recently, SGS and Zhejiang Kanglongda Special Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Kanglongda) have cooperated on the carbon footprint analysis of our ORRA palm coating technology, marking Kanglongda's important step towards the development of green, low-carbon, sustainable hand protection.

The ORRA glove coating technology is a key product for Kanglongda.
The product’s durable and comfortable woven hand core liner uses recycled polyester yarn that meets the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Utilizing recycled material in the liner reduces greenhouse gas emissions and reduces the waste footprint.
In addition, the coating process adopts KLD ORRA Technology, which optimizes the entire process, greatly saves unit energy consumption and reduces waste discharge.
In this cooperation with Kanglongda, the SGS product carbon footprint assessment service helped Kanglongda calculate the greenhouse gas emissions of its products through the requirements of ISO 14040: 2006.
At the same time, in accordance with ISO/TS 14067: 2013 and PAS 2050: 2011, SGS will professionally assess the total carbon emissions of Kanglongda's ORRA Technology palm coating glove during its entire life cycle, and issue corresponding report as well as a certificate. Kanglongda's ORRA Technology palm coating glove will be the first glove product to pass the SGS carbon footprint assessment service after that.
